Native Alaskans have many astonishing legends about these special lights. One of those legends are they describe the lights as people playing football in the sky. Another legend is that the aurora is believed that it can howl, whistle, and crackle.

In Yukon, the all time record with a hot 100 F in 1915. Many people think northern Alaska is the coldest, but it is not.
