APU's (Alaska Pacific University) majors are organized through institutes to advance APU's values. The learning at APU is built on five competeneies. These result in skills. APU's graduate degree offerings include Master of Arts, Master of Business, and more. Graduate certificates are available in Investments.

The Sheldon Jackson College is located in Sitka. It was forced to close its doors and dismiss its educators in 2007. But, in 2011 the 20-acre campus was bought. Sam Saggs, Alaska Arts Southeast, talked to the Rotary Club of Juneau about efforts to revise the campus. After the organization was ok campers were allowed to go back to the campus

The University of Alaska announces a Career Coach which is a web-based tool to explore careers. There is six locations to find food in this campus. UOA is located in the city of Fairbanks. The UA system was created in 1975. Since then, it was expanded to nineteen campuses between three separate accredited universities.

Since 1985, Charter College has been providing Alaska with career education. Charter College currently offers career programs in healthcare and business. All of their programs were developed specifically to address the hiring needs of employers. Charter College is a community technical college. Their education offer is based on growing career fields.

Prince William Sound College is a institution of higher education. This college is located in Valdez, Alaska. PWSC makes attending college in Alaska affordable. This college has small classes, a close knit campus community and one-on-one-one interactions. Some kids go to this school because, the school is affordable for their parents.
